Speqta’s Finnish site Rahalaitos is top ranked by Google
Speqta’s (“SPEQT”) acquired Rahalaitos, Finland’s leading loan broker, has this year taken the top positions for the most competitive keywords in the attractive loan segment in Finland. This means that Speqta has achieved a crucial component of the synergy goals of strengthening this site’s traffic acquisition.
During the last year of the pandemic, Speqta focused on investing in their sites to maximize growth opportunities and increased volumes when the effects of the pandemic subside. The development work has meant that Speqta and Rahalaitos has developed the site via improving the content and intensified the work on keyword optimization. The effects have been sequential increasing the overall visibility substantially and during 2021’s first months taking top organic search placements for the most attractive keywords, e.g. hae laina (apply for loan) and kilpailuta laina (compare loans).
With Rahalaitos now at the top of the rankings for commonly used keywords, ahead of both the major banks and other comparison services, it is a strong sign that Speqta has managed to realize the wanted synergy of their largest acquisition to date.

The Rahalaitos acquisition was based on three significant synergies, where the most important was to complement Rahalaitos’ brand building strengths with Speqta’s capability of traffic acquisition. It is a long term strategic work therefore it is especially exciting when we can witness parts of the results of that hard work. The two other synergies already achieved and that were the foundation for the acquisition were the geographical addition to Speqta and that we took a step forward in the value chain via becoming a broker, which complemented our affiliation business in a good way.
Rahalaitos’ site is www.rahalaitos.fi and is a part of Speqta’s business area Content & Comparison (C&C). During the fourth quarter 2020 C&C increased sales by 173% to KSEK 31 746 (11 644) with an EBITDA, excluding mgmt. fee, of KSEK 11 338 (6 520).
