First day of trading in Katalysen Ventures
Today is the first day of trading in Katalysen Ventures, a Swedish investment company that operates as a so-called “Venture developer”. Katalysen invests its expertise to lower the risk level of client companies in exchange for stock options and has so far invested its expertise and capital in 25 businesses.
Katalysen Ventures was founded in 2007 by Peter Almberg and established as a venture developer in 2015. The company currently consists of eleven venture builders operating out of offices in Stockholm, Sweden and Geneva, Switzerland. The business is to invest knowledge, time and capital in client companies and by adding both active expertise and financial capital, the Company reduces risk and increases the likelihood that more client companies can succeed. Katalysen receives stock and stock options in the form of warrants from client companies in exchange for its expertise. The reason behind the offering and listing on Spotlight Stock Market is to continue to create shareholder value and use the proceeds from the offering to expand the team, add more financial capital to new clients and continue to support the current portfolio.
