First day of trading in Upgrade Invest Nordic
Today is the first day of trading in the investment company Upgrade Invest Nordic. The company is working towards the vision of becoming a partner to growth companies intending to go public.
Upgrade is an investment company that invests primarily in growth companies that intend to go public within two years. The investment strategy is not limited to any particular sector or industry, and investment decisions can be made for the short or long term. Upgrade keeps abreast of investment opportunities, using both the Board's existing business relationships and publicly available market information. The company has established the necessary infrastructure and organisation to make further investments and then implement them across the Group. Its goal is to increase the value of its holdings, creating value for its shareholders. The company's strategy is twofold: to make minority investments in both unlisted and listed growth companies, and to offer unlisted companies an alternative route to a listing on an MTF through structured deals, such as reverse takeovers. Through the listing, Upgrade hopes to benefit from the advantages of operating in a listed environment and facilitate future acquisitions.
