Today is the first trading day in Wicket Gaming, active in the game development industry. The company develops and distributes so-called free-to-play games in the sports genre based on proprietary brands.

Since the start in 2015, the company has developed a manager game, Cricket Manager, in cricket for mobile devices that involves creating and owning its cricket club and competing against other players around the world. The company's goal is to create one of the world's most popular cricket manager games for mobile devices and to use a technical platform to broaden the game portfolio to include other sports manager games.

Wicket Gaming has recently completed a fully subscribed capitalization of approximately SEK 21.2 million to finance the upcoming launch of the mobile game Cricket Manager on the global market.

“We are very proud of the great interest in subscribing to shares in Wicket Gaming and look forward to being listed on the Spotlight Stock Market. The listing is an important milestone in our ambition to launch our first title, the mobile game Cricket Manager, on the global market. We want to welcome our shareholders and look forward to continuing our growth journey in a public environment,“ says Eric De Basso, CEO, Wicket Gaming.

“Today we welcome Wicket Gaming to Spotlight - an exciting game development company that focuses on sports manager games. We look forward to following their growth journey with a focus on the global gaming market,” says Carl-Henrik Nordberg, Head of Listing, Spotlight.
