Technical News - 10/25 IT – INET Nordic – New segment MIC for existing Spotlight Sweden Certificates Update #3
As previously communicated in IT Notice , IT Notice and IT Notice, new segment MIC for existing Spotlight Sweden Certificates will be allocated in INET Nordic system.
Affected instrument list detailed in this notice. Clarification on market data impact. Production go-live date is November 3, 2025.
Details
The Market Identifier Code (MIC), a unique identification code used to identify among other exchanges, trading platforms and markets. The MIC is a four alpha character code defined in ISO 10383.
MICs are included as execution venue MIC Codes in OUCH & FIX execution messages – LastMkt [30], Order Book Directory messages in ITCH, GLIMPSE and NLS, trade messages in NLS and GCF (TIP) and Basic Data messages on instrument level in GCF (TIP).
INET identifiers
The following new MIC (for existing segment) will be activated from November 3, 2025 in production.

Subsequently, all instuments in segment with new MIC will be affected. Full list of orderbooks attached.
As of November 3, 2025, orderbooks in existing Spotlight Sweden Certificates will have SPSD as market segment MIC, via reference/market data in ITHC, GLIMPSE, NLS and GCF protocols. Executions will contain SPSD value in LastMkt field for OUCH and FIX protocols.
Protocol specifications
The OUCH specification have been updated with a value in existing field Last Market for the SPSD MIC code for appropriate Market segment MIC code, and are available at the Nasdaq Nordic Technical Information website.
Reference data will be available via GCF-TIP, and existing INET protocols are used for all inbound and outbound messaging.
Market Data access
Spotlight Sweden Certificates segment is included in INET ITCH TCP and multicast data feeds. Market segment is also available in filtered TotalView-ITCH TCP product: Stockholm Warrants.
