Magnus Landare new president of SPP Fonder Magnus Landare has taken over as president of SPP Fonder. He has been a member of the Board and deputy president of SPP Fonder since the company started in 1996 and is also a member of SPP Investment Management's management group. Magnus Landare succeeds Pär Bäckman who is taking up the position of marketing director at Robur, a Swedish fund manager. SPP Fonder is experiencing fast growth in the most dynamic segment of the Swedish savings market and now offers savings in 16 funds with varying focuses. At the end of 1999, the company managed more than SEK 3,300 million on behalf of its clients, an increase of over 170 per cent in one year. The number of clients increased in 1999 by 35 per cent. SPP Fonder's expansion has continued in 2000 with total fund assets at 30 June of more than SEK 4,500 million.
