SPP to reduce fund management fees by more than 50 per cent Ahead of the premium pension choice in the autumn, SPP Fonder will reduce its management fees on all its funds by more than 50 per cent. The new prices will apply from 1 April. To make things easier for customers, those saving for their premium pension will be charged the same fees as other fund savers. "We think that it is unnecessary to make things complicated for our customers by having different fees for the same product. Unlike many other fund managers who are setting up special funds with a lower fee structure in the premium pension choice, we have the same fees for our funds regardless of whether the fund is included in the PPM choice," says Pär Bäckman, President of SPP Fonder. "The reason we are reducing our fees is that we are determined to be among the leading players when choices are made this autumn. If we are to be successful, we must have competitive prices, simple products and well- planned management," Bäckman continues.
