Year-on-Year Revenue Growth at 35%

London, 4 September 2012, Spreadshirt (www.spreadshirt.co.uk), the global, customisable clothing-commerce platform, has today announced that the UK market continues to grow successfully, with the company seeing positive growth across all UK channels throughout the first two quarters of the year. Spreadshirt’s year-on-year order growth is currently at 25% and year-on-year revenue growth is a notable 35%.

Additional company figures for the first half of 2012 show:

•        40% year-on-year revenue growth in the EU

•        58% year-on-year revenue growth globally

•        103% year-on-year revenue growth in the US

Philip Rooke, CEO at Spreadshirt explains, “We are continuing to perform ahead of plans and grow faster than market competitors. Spreadshirt continues to see licenses and brands migrate from the competition to Spreadshirt as we offer better options such as white label shops, Facebook shops, API solutions and a range of quality printing techniques. In the EU where we are already the market leader we still see strong growth as consumers continue to discover our services.”

Mr. Rooke adds, “The biggest growth areas are a result of our SEO strategies driving the marketplace and our sales teams doing great deals with upcoming as well as household brands and license partners.”

The platform provides multiple channels to bring customers’ ideas to life on clothing. To keep up with global demand for customised clothing and accessories, the company is to open its second North American factory in Las Vegas this October.

Notes to Editors:

Cafepress and Zazzle are Spreadshirt’s main competitors. They built a market in the US and so Spreadshirt’s growth is faster in the US as they take market share from them. The US is now Spreadshirt’s biggest single country with over 30% of revenue.

Recent brands to use the print-on-demand platform include: Brothers Cider and Cosmopolitan Magazine
