SRV has brought an action against Kiinteistö Oy Primulan Herkkupaja

SRV Construction Ltd has today brought an action concerning the liability to pay the costs for additional works and modifications on real estate company Kiinteistö Oy Primulan Herkkupaja’s bakery property.

SRV and Primulan Herkkupaja have concluded a contracting agreement on the construction of a bakery building for the use of Järvenpään Herkkutehdas Oy (previously Primulan Herkkutehdas Oy) in Järvenpää. Järvenpään Herkkupaja is a full subsidiary of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company. Herkkutehdas filed for bankruptcy in November 2011, and Varma filed a bankruptcy petition for the building's tenant’s parent company, Oy Primula Ab, in December 2011. The contracting parties have differing views over the liability to pay the costs for the additional work and modifications. SRV has filed a claim of approximately EUR 3.8 million (including VAT 23%)
