Tero Karislahti to start as SRV Group Plc’s Senior Vice President, Regional Units in February
Tero Karislahti, MSc. (Tech.), 40 years old, will start as SRV Group Plc’s Senior Vice President, Regional Units and a member of the Corporate Executive Team from February 1, 2024.
SRV announced in July that Karislahti has been appointed as SRV Group Plc’s Senior Vice President, Regional Units and a member of the Corporate Executive Team, effective no later than 1 July 2024.
Karislahti has held management positions at different YIT Corporation units for nearly 20 years, including Vice President responsible for operations in Häme and Uusimaa. Most recently, he has served as Lehto Group Plc’s Executive Vice President, Housing and a member of its Executive Board.

The regional construction units – Inland Finland, Southwest Finland and Northern Finland – play a major role in the development of SRV’s growth and profitability. Tero has robust and diverse experience in the construction industry, particularly in housing construction – stepping up our operations in this area is one of the company’s focus areas as the housing market recovers,” says Saku Sipola, President & CEO of SRV.
“It’s great to be able to take responsibility for SRV’s regional units and get to work on not only housing construction projects, but also business construction. I believe that collaborative projects will become more common going forward – SRV is strong in them. Urban development projects will also need more and more cooperative skills in the future”, says Tero Karislahti.
