Changes in SSC's Board of Directors
In conjunction with SSC’s Annual General Meeting yesterday, Joakim Westh was elected as the new Chair of the Board of SSC.
Joakim Westh has been a board member of SSC since 2024. He holds a M.Sc. in Aeronautics at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
He has a background as Senior Vice President of Group Function Strategy and Operational Excellence and member of Group Management at LM Ericsson, as Group Vice President and member of the Executive Management Group at Assa Abloy, and as Partner at McKinsey & Co.
"It is truly exciting to take on this assignment. The space industry is in rapid growth and development, which brings many opportunities," says Joakim Westh.
Joakim Westh is the Chair of the Board of Amexci, and a Board member of Saab, and Absolent Air Care Group. Joakim Westh replaces Anne Gynnerstedt who continues as a member of the Board.
