David Filipsson appointed Chief Commercial Officer of SSC
David Filipsson has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Swedish Space Corporation, SSC. He will take office on April 1 and be part of the Executive Committee. In the new role as CCO, he will play a critical role in commercializing SSC, driving sales excellence and securing achievement of group financial targets.
As CCO, David Filipsson will have a broad range of responsibilities and collaborate closely with all divisions and geographies. He will develop and implement the company’s overall commercial strategy, lead Sales Excellence initiatives to enhance sales performance and efficiency, establish and oversee contract management, and develop pricing strategies. As CCO, he will also collaborate with product development and customer service teams to align commercial goals with overall business objectives. The role also includes the areas of Strategy, Public & Governmental Affairs, Defense Affairs, Sustainability, and Marketing.

David has broad experience from different leadership roles at Ericsson across sales & commercial management, business development and strategy. Most recently, he has led global commercials for Ericsson’s Dedicated Networks offering, bringing 5G and private networks to industries such as manufacturing, energy and mining.
