SSC Go – our new service for small satellites and constellations
We are introducing SSC Go, our latest innovation designed to meet the fast-paced demands of the growing space market. Built on a global ground station network of compact 4m-class antennas on S-, X, Ka-band, SSC Go delivers seamless and effective access to satellite data for spacecraft in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
SSC is expanding its ground station capabilities with a new service designed to support today’s agile space missions – characterized by small satellites, faster development cycles, and evolving operational needs. This service lowers the barriers for emerging space operators by providing reliable access to a global ground network. SSC Go is optimized for the growing number of commercial space ventures, and evolving space technologies, and offers:
- Fast onboarding, making it easier and faster for customers to get started
- Simple scheduling, reserve your time slots
- Simultaneous dual polarization downlinks
- Built-in security, ensuring a highly robust and trusted approach
With this launch, SSC reinforces its role as a scalable partner for both established and emerging space programs – offering flexible, secure, and customer-centric solutions through its integrated global network.
“This is an important step for SSC in meeting the growing demand by expanding our business. SSC Go will be a great addition to our service portfolio and will provide great value for the SmallSat and constellation market,” says Nick Priborsky, President of the Connect division at SSC.
A world-wide network – capable of S- X- and Ka-band, including simultaneous dual polarization payload downlink – will assure connectivity: Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden, North Pole in Alaska, Inuvik in northern Canada, WASC in western Australia, and Punta Arenas in southern Chile. The network will be continuously expanded to align with expected service volumes.
