SSC strengthens ties with Australia amid ESA–ASA collaboration expansion
Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) welcomes the expanded collaboration between the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Australian Space Agency (ASA), in the announcement of their mandate to begin negotiations on a Cooperative Agreement.
Building on more than 40 years of ESA–ASA cooperation and SSC’s own 25-year presence in Australia this milestone opens new opportunities in space science programs and missions.

Through its global ground stations network, including key ground station capability in Western Australia, SSC has long supported global missions with launch, LEOP, and routine operations services. Recent examples include ESA’s EarthCare, Firely Aerospace Blue Ghost Mission-1 and NASA’s Europa Clipper mission.
SSC’s Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) offering has become a trusted solution for reliable, mission-critical connectivity worldwide. The ESA–ASA agreement, aligns closely with SSC’s global capabilities in space situational awareness, data analytics, and remote asset management.
