Swedish Space Corporation to change its name to SSC Space
Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) will change its company name to SSC Space at the beginning of 2026. With the name change, all its operations and subsidiaries are gathered under one common global brand. The new name better reflects the company’s global presence and business focus.
“We operate on a truly international stage, supporting missions and customers across the globe. To unify our identity, strengthen our market presence, and foster a shared culture of pride and engagement, we are evolving our brand to SSC Space,” says Carina Aspenberg, SVP and Head of Communications at SSC.
SSC Space retains the recognition of the SSC abbreviation – honoring the company’s heritage while presenting a clear, international, and forward-looking brand and identity.
Already today, SSC Space serves as the legal entity name in several key markets. As part of this transition, the company’s subsidiaries, LSE Space and Aurora Technology, will adopt the SSC Space name, bringing the entire organization together under one global brand.
Operating internationally, the company has premises across all continents: Sweden, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, and the United States.
“Under one global brand, we can fully leverage the strength of our leading market position. SSC Space will continue to build on the recognition and trust established over decades, maintaining the same mission, values, and expertise – with the same commitment to helping Earth benefit from space,” says Charlotta Sund, President and CEO of SSC.
With the name change, the company’s logo and key visual elements will also be updated. Read more http://www.sscspace.com/newname
