Changes in SSC's board of directors

In conjunction with an additional general meeting today, Anne Gynnerstedt was elected new Chair of the Board of SSC. Meanwhile, Lotta Mellström was elected new board member.

Anne Gynnerstedt has been a board member of SSC since 2015, and acting Chair of the Board since September 30, 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Law from Stockholm University and has extensive experience from the airline and defense industries. Most recently she held a position for 12 years as Sr Vice President, Head of Legal and Corporate Security and Resilience in Vattenfall. Anne Gynnerstedt replaces Anna Kinberg Batra.

“I am honored to serve SSC as Chair and will together with the board and management do my outmost to ensure the successful continued development of the company and in particular its efforts to create important infrastructure at Esrange, says Anne Gynnerstedt”.

Lotta Mellström holds a degree in economics from Lund University and is currently working as Senior Adviser and Investment Director at the Department of State-owned Enterprises at the Swedish Ministry of Finance. She also is a board member of Jernhusen AB and LKAB. Lotta Mellström replaces Per Lundkvist.
