Ulrika Unell appointed new Head of Orbital Launch & Rocket Test

Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) has appointed Ulrika Unell as the new Head of Orbital Launch & Rocket Test division. She will take office from 1 September as part of the company's management team.

“As an engineer, I am intrigued by space and the constant technological changes and developments that characterize this industry. SSC is on an exciting journey which I look forward to diving into, and most importantly getting to know the team with all its expertise and knowledge,” says Ulrika Unell. 

Ulrika Unell is currently Head of Strategy, Business Development and Public Affairs at Tekniska verken in Linköping – an industrial group creating resource-efficient energy systems for a sustainable society. Her background includes various positions within Ericsson, and as CEO of Lärandegruppen, one of Sweden’s largest Group of private schools. Ulrika started her career as a research engineer at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) and holds a master’s degree in applied physics and electrical engineering from The Institute of Technology at Linköping University. Since 2017, she is a member of the board of directors at Linköping University.
