SSM begins sale of 72 student housing units
Today, SSM will launch sales of 72 student apartments in the form of cooperative apartments within the framework of the Tentafabriken project. The property is located in central Sollentuna, close to shopping, services, athletic facilities, green areas, a ski hill and good public transportation to the many academic institutions in the region. The units consist mainly of one-room apartments measuring 24 m2 with direct access to storage facilities. All of the units will have either a private balcony or access to a private patio. A shared rooftop terrace and 1000/1000 Mbit/s broadband will also be included in the monthly fee. The first tenants are expected to move in towards the end of 2019. SSM’s long-term goal is for student housing to account for 10 percent of the Group’s portfolio.
SSM is now starting to sell 72 smart, affordable student apartments with a shared rooftop terrace within the framework of its Tentafabriken project. The development is attractively located in the center of Sollentuna, close to downtown Stockholm and many academic institutions in the region. Sollentuna is also close to both Arlanda and Bromma airports, and there is good public transport by commuter train and bus as well as bike paths.
Tentafabriken features modern architecture and the building will have three to eight stories and a total floor space of 1,828 m2. Most of the homes will be one-room apartments measuring 24 m2 with direct access to storage space. The project will also include a few larger studio apartments with floor space of 49 m2. Most of the apartments will have a balcony or outdoor patio. Shared spaces include a rooftop terrace and tenants will enjoy 1,000/1,000 Mbit/s broadband included in their monthly fee. The first tenants are expected to move in at the end of 2019.
