SSP AMERICA PARTNERS WITH DANE COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT TO EXPAND PRESENCE OF LOCAL BUSINESSES WITH $250k INVESTMENT
Madison-based Ancora Coffee rebranded and expanded, and Metcalfe’s Local To Go debuts
Lansdowne, VA, October 9, 2013: SSP America, in partnership with Dane County Regional Airport, Madison, Wisconsin, is pleased to announce the completion of its $250,000 investment in the airport that broadens the local offer, and strengthens its commitment to bringing more Madison-based businesses, brands and products to the passengers of MSN.
SSP America, the North American division of SSP, the leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide, is the sole food and beverage purveyor at MSN. SSP’s recent investment at the airport includes a complete rebranding of locally owned specialty coffee roasters, Ancora Coffee, as well as the opening of its second unit, now located pre-security. With a loyal following of Madison coffee lovers, Ancora’s expansion and fresh new look will showcase their commitment to handcrafting the finest Small Batch Artisan Roasted® and exclusively Fair Trade coffees.
In addition, SSP and MSN are proud to announce the debut of Metcalfe’s Local To Go, the new airport location of the Madison-based, family-owned Metcalfe’s Market. Proudly serving the Madison community for nearly a century, Metcalfe’s grocery has led the way in environmental practices with their food miles program featuring 3,000 locally sourced and produced foods. Committed to a more sustainable Wisconsin, the new airside venue will offer travelers their favorite locally made grab and go products including: Sprecher Brewery’s Gourmet Sodas, McCluskey Brothers’ 100% Pure Maple Syrup, Oakhouse Bakery Specialty Granola, Gail Ambrosius' Chocolates and Rickland Orchards’ Greek Yogurt Coated Granola Bars.

Ancora Coffee is located on the first floor, pre-security and on the second floor near Gates 7 and 8. Metcalfe’s Local To Go is also on the second floor, near Gates 7 and 8.
