SSP CANADA TO OPEN PRIZED MILL STREET BREWERY PUB AT TORONTO PEARSON

The opening marks Mill Street’s first airport location.

Toronto, Canada, March 6, 2012: SSP Canada, the Canadian division of SSP, the leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide, is delighted to announce, opening soon, in time for Easter, the Mill Street Brewery Pub at Toronto Pearson, Canada’s largest airport.  The restaurant showcases Mill Street Brewery’s award winning beers with locally inspired cuisine.   Guests travelling out of Terminal 1 will find the new location between gate D20 and D22.

Great beer now lives at the airport.  Mill Street Brewery, a Toronto based craft brewery is the winner of numerous national and international brewing awards   Aiming to produce a variety of beers to suit every taste, their varied menu options include the complex “Tankhouse Pale Ale,” their wholly original “Organic Lager” which uses all natural, certified organic ingredients and the “Mill Street Extra Special Bitter” made with hops imported from England.

As well as their award-winning beer, the Mill Street Brewery Pub will offer travelers exceptional pub style food.  The new airport location pairs menu items with draught beer suggestions for a truly memorable food and drink experience. Customers can enjoy a Port Steak Cobb Salad with Cobblestone stout infused ranch dressing or Beer Drenched Cedar Plank Salmon topped with maple mustered glaze while sipping on the Tankhouse Pale Ale or the Mill Street Helles Bock.

The newly formed partnership sees SSP Canada operating the pub under a special licensing agreement with Mill Street.  Mill Street views the venture as “an extraordinary opportunity to introduce new consumers to our products.”
