Gamers can now experience the ultimate in next generation gaming audio with Audio-Technica’s

new flagship gaming headsets, the ATH-ADG1X and ATH-AG1X. Born from the company’s rich high fidelity heritage, both headsets integrate technology found in the award-winning audiophile-grade Art Monitor and Air Dynamic headphone series’, while also building on the success of its gaming predecessors with superior comfort and microphone performance.

Compatible with PS4, Xbox One*, Mac and PC, these headsets have been designed to deliver both sonic accuracy and audio power, so players can hear the high resolution cinematic scores and sound details as they were intended. The wide sound stage is ideal for professional e-sports players who demand cutting-edge performance during gameplay.

ATH-ADG1X

Sporting a premium all-metal housing and an open-air design, the expertly engineered 53mm drivers have been finely tuned to produce accurate and detailed fidelity, so even approaching enemy footsteps on today’s first person shooters can be clearly heard. The open-back profile allows for an immersive but widescreen listening experience while keeping the temperature cool during extended gaming assignments.

Boasting a closed-back design and a striking high gloss black and deep metallic red finish, the headset’s dynamic 53mm drivers include a core double air damping system (D.A.D.S.) to deliver deep, resonating bass. The dual-layer housing structure is able to enhance the accuracy of low-end frequencies. The ATH-AG1X’s closed-back arrangement offers gamers an intense, powerful, three-dimensional audio performance without the distraction of outside noise.

The ATH-ADG1X and ATH-AG1X feature set

Flawless in-game voice communication is essential for today’s gamers and both models are equipped with premium gooseneck high response microphones. The introduction of a narrower directional Supercardioid microphone set-up doesn’t pick-up unwanted and distracting ambient noises that can cause confusion during gameplay, a vast improvement over unidirectional microphone designs. An improved windscreen feature also minimises wind and breath interference for crystal clear audio. Finally, an easy to access in-line volume and mute remote enables one-handed control.

The improved 3D wing support system has also enhanced comfort levels, with tighter headband wires and improved angles of support providing a more secure fit. Combined with soft earpads, fatigue caused by long gaming sessions is eliminated.

A longer 1.2 metre cable allows players to comfortably position themselves around the screen while PC gamers can increase the tether length up to a further two metres thanks to an extension, with an added 2 x 3.5mm plug for microphone and audio.
