Panasonic has announced the return of the much-loved Technics brand and will release new music systems in the UK from December 2014.

“Our new Technics products have a timeless design that stays true to the clean, stylish lines of our traditional Technics products, whilst also allowing for the housing of superior acoustic technology” says Chief Designer Koji Mochizuki.

Three core elements make the two new systems a perfect match for style conscious music fans. Unique noise reduction technology means you hear more of the sound the artist intended, custom digital processing modes and ‘emotive acoustic’ technology deliver a wide sound stage for the listener, placing them in the heart of the music, whether enjoying a studio album or live recording.

The Reference Class R1 Series (below) consists of three hi-fi components designed to deliver high-end musical experiences: the Network Audio Control Player SU-R1, Stereo Power Amplifier SE-R1 and Speaker System SB-R1 – designed to offer the ultimate in sound performance from a floor standing speaker. The network based audio player works in tandem with an exclusive smartphone app, allowing easy access to your High Res digital music collection. If you demand studio sound quality and the very best in professional home audio, the Reference Class R1 series is a system designed with you in mind.

The Premium Class C700 Series is designed to deliver emotionally-engaging music with a refined style.

Designed for smaller living spaces, the SB-C700 speakers re-visit classic Technics design cues while being ideally suited for placing on modern furniture. Music playback is possible from your home network or wirelessly from your smartphone. You can also enjoy your CD collection via the SL-C700 CD player.
