Staveley Head Appoints New Operations Manager

Craig Shaw has been appointed to manage and oversee Staveley Head’s sales and compliance operations.

Staveley Head is delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Shaw as Operations Manager. Former Regional Quality Manager at Swinton Insurance, Shaw brings a wealth of experience to the role, with responsibility for overseeing and managing the firm’s salesv and compliance operations.

Staveley Head specialises in commercial vehicle and niche motor insurance products and is a major employer in North Wales with over 60 locally-based staff. Ashley Peters, Managing Director, commented, “Our ongoing expansion together with our high service expectations has created the need for this role. We are delighted to have Craig on board. His experience, knowledge and integrity will contribute greatly to our continued success”.

Shaw’s broking career began in 1995 with Colonnade Insurance, advancing quickly to senior sales executive and achieving the accolade of becoming Colonnade’s youngest branch manager. Following Colonnade’s acquisition by Swinton Insurance in 2001 Craig continued to progress and managed several branches before becoming appointed as Area Manager.
