About The Stella & Dot Foundation:

The Stella & Dot Foundation was conceived in July 2010 with a mission to create positive change in women's lives through education and economic empowerment.  All net proceeds from the sale of the Stella & Dot Foundation bracelets and charms support ACCION USA, buildOn, and Girls Inc. ACCION USA empowers low to moderate income women with training, resources, and ongoing support to start and grow their business. buildOn empowers people and transforms lives by partnering after school service programs in the U.S. with communities in developing countries to build schools. Girls Inc. is serving girls in at-risk communities who most need positive, supportive afterschool environments (U.S. & Canada). In addition to their three core charity partners, Stella & Dot also celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and Autism Awareness Month in April.  Through the sale of signature bracelets, significant funds have been raised towards these causes that are very close to the Stella & Dot community.  To-date, the Stella & Dot Foundation has raised over $750,000.

About USO (United Service Organizations):

The USO (United Service Organizations) lifts the spirits of America’s troops and their families millions of times each year at hundreds of places worldwide. We provide a touch of home through centers at airports and military bases in the U.S. and abroad, top quality entertainment and innovative programs and services. We also provide critical support to those who need us most, including forward-deployed troops, military families, wounded warriors and their families and the families of the fallen.

About Support Military Spouses:

Support Military Spouses recognizes and applauds the undaunted courage of military wives and husbands as they shoulder the responsibility of family life, care for wounded warriors, and honor the memory of our nation’s fallen heroes. We do this through programs that show appreciation for and reaffirm the sacrifice, patriotism and selflessness of all military spouses.  Its flagship campaign Shoeboxes For Military Spouses, is the only program of its kind in the country that collects, assembles and distributes shoebox gifts for active duty military wives and husbands. It is our vision and goal to annually provide every U.S. military wife or husband with a shoebox filled with gifts of a pampering and encouraging nature.  We partner with the military to distribute the shoebox gifts.

About Operation Shower:

Operation Shower is a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and honoring military families by providing joyful baby showers for military moms-to-be to ease the stress of deployment, or in cases where spouses are seriously injured.  Since the organization’s inception in 2007, Operation Shower has showered more than 900 military moms from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and National Guard on military bases, during PGA TOUR tournaments, and at other locations.

About MOAA (Military Officers Association of America):

MOAA’s Military Spouse programs provide knowledge, tools and events to help military spouses stay informed and empowered. For more than 80 years, MOAA has led advocacy for service members and their families from all ranks, securing education, pay and employment benefits at the state and national levels. From careers to kids, MOAA stands with military families, for life.

About MFRC (Military Family Resource Center):

The MFRC-NCR empowers Canadian Forces families by addressing their unique and evolving needs through increased visibility, distributed delivery, and strong partnerships. The most important goal of the Military Family Resource Centre of the National Capital Region is to promote active participation of our Canadian Forces families in planning, developing, managing, and evaluating the Military Family Resource Centre.

We are a place to come together, learn, and develop strengths, as well as to share thoughts, interests, and concerns. The MFRC-NCR serves the Canadian Forces community of the National Capital Region, which consists of approximately 7,500 Canadian Forces members (Regular Forces and Reservists) and their families.

Our programs are designed to meet the needs of CF families and to give them opportunities to enhance their quality of life. CF families and family members can access our services as a family, individually, or in groups. A full range of services is offered in the Uplands area, and additional programs are offered throughout the National Capital Region.
