”Preem Lysekil Women’s Match for the Stena Bulk Trophy” is a match racing competition for women with prize money of around SEK 400,000. With this year’s success, Lysekil Women’s Match has shown that it is one of the premier annual attractions on the Swedish West Coast. The competition has become one of the highlights of the summer for both participants and sailing enthusiasts.

Entertainment
Apart from the match racing, the main attractions during the week were the performances in Havsbadsparken by Martin Stenmarck, Tommy Nilsson and Markoolio. There was also test-and-try sailing as well as diving and sea rescue demonstrations and many visitors took the opportunity to go on board the East Indiaman Götheborg. At the beginning of the week, a well-attended seminar was held on cleaning up wrecks from World War II containing e.g. fuel oil or ammunition.
