Book early to visit family and friends with Stena Line

LEADING ferry company Stena Line is spreading some early Christmas cheer by offering fantastic low deals for customers who book early to visit friends and family this festive season.

Stena Line, determined to make sure nobody is left home alone this Christmas and away from loved ones, is offering festive fares on all its routes using its low fares finder.Diane Poole OBE, Head of PR and Communications for Stena Line, believes that by choosing to travel by ferry, customers will have the festive period all wrapped up.

“Stena Line provides passengers with an enjoyable and stress-free travel experience with no restrictions on luggage, and the opportunity to pack the car with more, plus a wide range of routes and lots of onboard facilities for all the family,” said Diane.

“We recently celebrated our 50th year in business and as part of our commemorations we asked customers to tell us their favourite memories of travelling with Stena Line,” she continued.  “Lots of funny, sad and moving memories were shared emphasising that ferry travel is much more than a journey, especially at Christmas time.”

Long airport queues are often the scourge of Christmas travellers but passengers using Stena Line don’t have to worry about this as check-in at the ferry terminal is plain sailing.

Once onboard there is fantastic fun for the family with Curious George themed play areas onboard and Teen Town for older children, while parents can relax and surf the web using free Wi-Fi.

Passengers also have the opportunity to finish off their Christmas shopping in the onboard shop with a great range of gifts, jewellery and fragrances with prices on average up to 50% cheaper than the high street while in the restaurant, enjoy a festive feast from the new Kevin Woodford winter menu.

Stena Line's routes this Christmas include Belfast to Cairnryan, Dublin Port to Holyhead, Rosslare to Fishguard, Belfast to Liverpool or on the Stena HSS Fastcraft from Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead which is operating for 12 days over Christmas: 20 – 23 and 27 – 30 December and 2 – 5 January.
