Erie, PA—Suspended Permanent Magnets from Eriez® automatically remove large amounts of ferrous from nonferrous materials conveyed in heavy burden depths, on almost any type of conveyor or chute. With no power source necessary, Eriez Suspended Permanent Magnets require no electrical maintenance and offer uninterrupted magnetic protection.

Eriez Suspended Permanent Magnets deliver the unequalled performance once only available in electromagnets in new, compact, lighter, permanently magnetic assemblies. They offer safe and reliable tramp iron removal to protect costly processing machinery and maintain product purity.

The Eriez circuit, scientifically designed for the most efficient use of magnetic material, assures a deep–reaching field to grasp the most elusive tramp iron from fast moving belts.

With no heat generated, Eriez Suspended Permanent Magnets operate at peak efficiency at all times. Elevated temperatures in the 100 to 200 F (38 to 93 C) range have virtually no effect on these separators.

Eriez Suspended Permanent Magnets are available in Manual Cleaning (MC) and Self Cleaning (SC) models. Both MC and SC models are offered in five magnetic strengths, enabling customers to select the ideal level of protection for their particular application.

Options include hazardous duty motors, static–conducting belts, zero–speed switches, special belts for abrasive, hot or difficult applications, foundry package options, drawer-type strippers for easy-cleaning (MC units only) and more.
