Holding Food is Convenient in the Thermodyne Model 1600 NDNL
Fort Wayne, IN — Thermodyne Model 1600 NDNL cabinet maintains food products for fast assembly at precise temperatures without loss of moisture.
Measuring 17.5” W x 32” D x 63” H, the model 1600 NDNL’s convenient drawer slides eliminate the need to open and close doors when accessing food products. Each shelf is individually heated and maintains the correct temperature over every square inch of the shelf. Drawers slide under pre-installed patented floating lids that are completely removable. This innovative feature eliminates the hassles associated with cleaning and repairing typical lids that can’t be detached.
The cabinet can hold five 2” full size pans and five 4” full size pans or ten 2” half size pans and ten 4” half size pans, or a combination of both sizes. The unique design of the 1600 NDNL also allows for steaming capability in the lower cabinet.
Product holding times are significantly increased while far superior food quality is maintained. The quality of the product is exceptional. There is no crusting, discoloration or evaporation of moisture. With a maximum operating temperature of 230 degrees Fahrenheit, the 1600 NDNL can hold a wide range of food products. Its holding capabilities include anything from chicken and hamburgers to eggs and bacon to pasta, rice, vegetables and more.
Due to the space they require for air circulation, traditional holding cabinets can’t provide the same pan capacity as a Thermodyne. With other ovens, products burn on the edges and temperatures are uneven in the center. Unlike traditional holding cabinets that use forced air or radiant heat, each Thermodyne shelf is heated and evenly transfers heat into the food product. There is no heat loss from opening and closing doors.
