Presque Isle Partnership Announces New Board, Expands Its Commitment with New Events, New Energy
Erie, PA — The Presque Isle Partnership (PIP) has named the following new members to its board of directors: Alana Handman, retired event planner; Geoff Bach, sales executive for Sprint Communications; Tom Toale, owner of Frontier Pharmacy; and Mark Dombrowski, Erie Insurance.
The board also announced the following new officers for 2011: Joe Maloney, CPA, Partner--Maloney Reed Scarpitti & Company, was named president; Sean Plunkett, an architect with Weber Murphy Fox, was named vice president; Pat Davis, a retired educator, was named secretary; and Michael Neubauer, CPA, McGill Power Bell & Associates, was named treasurer.
“The Presque Isle Partnership is one of the best kept secrets in the Northwestern Pennsylvania area,” said Joe Maloney, PIP President. “We are excited about all we do to help Presque Isle thrive from our Sunset Music Series to our Waterworks Playground. We look forward to the first annual Joe Root’s Frostbite Open that will take place February 20, 2011 on Presque Isle Bay.
The Presque Isle Partnership mission is to enhance the Presque Isle visitors’ experience by developing, funding and implementing projects and programs at the Park, while protecting the natural environment. Some of the projects the Partnership is committed to include The Waterworks Playground, Barracks Beach Windmill, Educational Panels@Perry Monument and the Lighthouse Preservation.
