Erie, Pa. — Through its Hydroflow® Division, Eriez can now provide a complete reverse osmosis system for pure water treatment. Reverse osmosis (RO) is a process that removes up to 98 percent of dissolved minerals, and virtually 100 percent of colloidal and suspended matter.

Pure mineral-free water has been shown time and again to improve the performance of all types and brands of water-miscible cutting and grinding fluids and its use is mandatory for successful long-term coolant recycling. The RO Systems available from Eriez can reject harmful particulates including minerals, bacteria, organics and silica.

Compared to other processes, RO provides a lower cost, higher quality water and does not require acids or caustics for regeneration. RO systems from Eriez are available from 100 gallons per day (GPD) to over 10,000 GPD.

These pure water treatment systems come with a multi-stage centrifugal pump, pre-filtration cartridge, low-pressure switch and a range of 3-11 pH within temperatures between 33-100˚ F.
