The Cleveland Furniture Announces New Board Member for 2011

Cleveland, OH (February 2011) —The Cleveland Furniture Bank (CFB) announces the addition of Eric Eber, Director, Application Development at Swagelok Company to its Board of Directors for 2011, according to Tom Gaghan, Executive Director of the Cleveland Furniture Bank.  

“We are very thrilled to add Eric to the Cleveland Furniture Bank’s Board of Directors. As the number of people assisted by the CFB continues to climb, we are grateful for the support that we receive from our Board of Directors to fulfill our mission of providing gently used furniture to over 3,000 residents in need each year," said Gaghan.

“Each year the CFB’s Board plays a vital role for our organization, through fundraising efforts and their counsel regarding the Furniture Bank’s operations. I am confident that Eric will be a positive addition to the Board,” said Gaghan.   

The Cleveland Furniture Bank is a collaboration of various faith-based, secular and governmental agencies and the business community to provide high-quality used furniture to families that are rebuilding their lives. Each month the CFB assists between 300 and 400 individuals in Cuyahoga and surrounding counties referred by over 300 agencies. The Cleveland Furniture Bank is a non-denominational 501 (c) (3) charity, so all donations are tax deductible. CFB serves Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Geauga, Medina and Summit Counties.
