Eriez Introduces Larger BAM Magnets as Extension of SE 7000 Suspended Electromagnet Line
Erie, PA — The SE 7000 model line from Eriez® now includes a series of larger industrial-type suspended electromagnets designed especially for heavy-duty applications in the coal and mining industries. The larger magnets---called BAMs—are available with magnet sizes starting at 90” (228.6cm) square.
The BAMs are made chiefly for processing operations using wide, high tonnage conveyor belts with deep burden depths. These larger magnets remove oversized pieces of tramp metal that represent a hazard to downstream crushers, mills, pulverizers and grinders. The BAMs also remove sharp metal
