Stepping down at the AGM were two longstanding Council members Fiona Carrington (William Sinclair) and Jane Lawler (Gardman). Both were thanked for their considerable support and service over the years.

Commenting, Nigel Thompson said

I’m delighted and honoured to be taking on the role of GIMA President and look forward to building on the excellent work carried out by my predecessor. The GIMA Council is stronger than ever, and I’m confident that together we’ll be able to bring some real benefits to the association and its members over the coming year.
