Stewart Garden launches Strawberry/Herb Pot at Glee 2012

Stewart Garden, the gardening products division of UK manufacturer, Stewart, is launching its new Strawberry/Herb Pot at Glee 2012.

Designed with space in mind, the new 33cm x 25cm pots are stackable, making them ideal for growing strawberries or herbs in small garden spaces. Manufactured in tough plastic in a terracotta stone effect, they are lightweight and scratch resistant. The Strawberry/Herb Pot has been designed to provide good growing space and efficient drainage for consistently healthy crops.

The Strawberry/Herb Pot also has pockets for growing a range of plants such as viola, mustard giant red and capsicum, which can be eaten raw or cooked.

BBC Gardeners’ Question Time panellist and BBC Gardeners’ World columnist, Pippa Greenwood said, “High rise herbs and strawberry sky scrapers are easy with Stewart Garden’s new Strawberry/Herb Pot. Once they have been planted around the sides, they can be stacked for added impact which is perfect for smaller spaces”

Stewart Garden will be showcasing the Strawberry/Herb Pot as part of its What’s New collection at Glee 2012, the national gardening trade show. Other products in the collection include the 190 Litre Oak Effect Water Butt, Piazza, Watering Cans, Blenheim Half Barrel Planter and Clear Pots for Orchids.

Stewart Garden supplies products to garden centres including Wyevale and Dobbies as well as DIY stores such as Wilkinson and Homebase.

Glee 2012 takes place from 17 – 19 September at the NEC, Birmingham. Stewart Garden will be exhibiting on Stand 5C06-D05 in Hall 5.
