The ÅForsk Foundation has sold shares in ÅF Pöyry to finance subscription pro rata in ÅF Pöyry’s coming rights issue
ÅForsk has sold 1,921,323 shares of class B in ÅF Pöyry AB (publ) to a total value of approximately 305 million SEK. After the sale, ÅForsk owns 10.9% of the share capital and 33.6% of the voting rights.
Through the sale, ÅForsk has sufficient funds to subscribe for its pro rata share in the rights issue ÅF Pöyry intends to complete during the first half of 2019.
The shares have been sold to Fjärde AP-fonden, who, after the transaction, in total owns shares corresponding to 2.9% of the share capital and 2.1% of the voting rights in ÅF Pöyry. In connection with the transaction, Fjärde AP-fonden has agreed to subscribe for its pro rata share in the planned rights issue.
Handelsbanken Capital Markets acted as advisor in the sale.
