STILRIDE wins prestigious Industrial Award during TECHARENAN BRIGHT 2022
Techarenan awards the Nordic's leading startup and growth companies. STILRIDE was awarded this year's Industrial Award during the Techarenan Challenge in Almedalen. The price is a desirable marker that as a startup you are at the forefront of new and innovative technology with the potential to change entire markets.
The Techarenan Challenge is the final of Scandinavias largest, annual entrepreneurship competition that the organization Techarenan arranges every year during Almedalen Week. More than 900 companies competed from all over the Nordics. The companies are across industries such as cleantech, foodtech, healthtech and more.
30 companies have had the chance to present themselves and pitch their business idea to a jury on site during the politicians' week in Almedalen.
An expert jury evaluated each of the companies, focusing on scalability and sustainability. They also judged on well-defined growth opportunities.
STILRIDE won the Industrial Award category with the motivation:
“STILRIDE has developed an innovative manufacturing technology that minimizes resource consumption. But the potential does not stop there – the STILFOLD technology can revolutionize manufacturing in everything from vehicles to bridges. That is why they are awarded the #industrinspris2022.”
The prize was awarded by Association of Swedish Engineering Industries CEO Klas Wahlberg at Techarenan's award ceremony in Almedalen in Sweden.

STILRIDE is a Swedish technology and design company that will soon launch its first product, the electric motorcycle SUS1. SUS1 is also the first product to take advantage of the company's own and unique manufacturing process STILFOLD, where an origami-style process is utilized to shape advanced constructions from sheets of steel. The process not only creates extremely durable constructions, but also enables environmentally friendly and local production. STILRIDE was founded in 2020 by Tue Beijer and Jonas Nyvang.
