STIM - The Swedish Performing Rights Society – now presents a unique new service: Cora Music. For the first time in the world Youtubers have unlimited access to a large catalogue of copyright protected quality music. With the songs directly available, the user can add the music of their choice instantly to their creative content for a fixed monthly fee of €25, with no extra costs or administration.

Cora Music is based on a subscription model with a large collection of music that is free to use without any risk of ownership claims. STIM is the world’s first collecting society that offers a broad repertoire of music in a one-stop shop solution. Cora Music, which is based on a collaboration with publishers and record labels, gives music creators and rights holders access to a new market, with large economic potential. They will now finally receive the royalties they deserve, and at the same time contribute to a better sounding YouTube.

Cora Music solves a major problem where Youtubers previously had to contact the respective publishers and record labels for each song they wished to use, and pay for each one separately. This complexity has led to a situation where users today mostly use unknown buyout music or refrain from using music at all.

Cora Music represents famous tracks from all kinds of genres, is available in one single database, and has a state-of-the-art filter according to category, mood, tempo and much more. Cora Music is currently available for Youtubers, and will later be expanded across other platforms.

– This is a service that meets an enormous demand – quality music from a one-stop-shop, at a low monthly price. Finally, professional Youtubers can add music to their videos with well known and beloved songs, without any burdensome administration, says Malte Andreasson, CEO of Cora Music.

This is a true game changer, says Casper Bjørner, CEO of Stim. There is a myriad of online services that offer music to YouTube creators, but Cora Music is the first service to offer unlimited access to hits that the viewers love – not simply anonymous muzak. This is the result of extensive and successful license negotiations with numerous partners, and we’re really proud.

Cora Music is available within the EU and already has thousands of tracks in its constantly growing repertoire.
