Think 2030 Dialogue Sweden: Navigating crisis through sustainability
Think 2030 Dialogue Sweden brings together decision-makers and analysts from policy, business and research across Europe to discuss the key sustainability issues impacting EU policy. The event is scheduled for 20 April in Stockholm, coinciding with the informal meeting of EU environment ministers.
“This provides a unique opportunity to gather high-level representatives from EU member states to reflect on the outcome of the informal ministerial meeting and focus on the EU’s sustainability goals achieving the common vision described in the European Green Deal,” said Måns Nilsson, Executive Director at Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).
The Think2030 Dialogue Sweden, occurring within the context of the Think2030 platform activities, was established by the Institute for European Environmental Policy in 2018 to offer science-policy solutions aimed at a more sustainable Europe.
The Think2030 Dialogue Sweden will feature high-level policy debates and science-policy sessions focusing on four key thematic issues:
- Energy transition and the cost of living: how to strike the right balance between short-term fixes and long-term solutions to the energy crisis
- Climate security and trade in times of multiple crises
- Innovation and industry transition: towards a green industrial strategy
- European Green Deal until 2024 and beyond. What should be the vision and priorities for the European Green Deal Version 2.0?
