Invitation to cover the Awards Ceremony of the 30th Stockholm International Film Festival

On Friday, November 15 the prestigious Bronze Horse and Aluminium Horses are presented to the winners of the Stockholm International Film Festival. Stockholm Rising Star, Stockholm Impact Award, 1 Km Film and the Fipresci-award for "Best film" will also be presented during the evening. The Awards Ceremony is taking place at Göta Lejon. 

DATE: Friday, November 15 
TIME: Doors open at 16:30, photographing and interviews on the red carpet between 17.00.-17.50. 
LOCATION: Göta Lejon

The evening is hosted by Alexander Salzberger. 

The Bronze Horse is presented to “Best film” and “Best documentary”. The Aliminium Horse in the categories: “Best director”, ”Best debut”, ”Best screenplay”, ”Best lead actor”, ”Best lead actress” and ”Best cinematography”. 

The winner of the Stockholm Impact Award is given a cash price of 1 Million SEK as well as a statuette designed by the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. The award is founded by the city of Stockholm and Stockholm International Filmfestival in order to highlight quality films that mirror our society. 

During the evening Stockholm Rising Star, 1 Km Film, Fipresci-award, and the Pitch Prize. Several of the winners will attend the awards ceremony and will be available for interviews. 

Previously at the festival, Céline Sciamma has accepted the Stockholm Visionary Award and Rosanna Arquette has accepted the Stockholm Achievement Award. Max von Sydow has been honored and Payman Maadi is accepting the Stockholm Achievement Award, Thursday, November 14.
