Legendary actor Peter Fonda attended the Stockholm International Film Festival 2012 as the president of the jury.

On his way to the festival screening of Easy Rider, Peter Fonda was escorted through central Stockholm by a gang of bikers. An unforgettable moment.

At Stockholm Film Festival there was a Face2Face with Peter Fonda on stage when his movie Easy Rider was shown. In the interview Fonda said he wants to die in the middle of a shoot for a movie or on stage. This is how great his love for acting was.

- Our “Captain America” is dead. We will always remember Peter Fonda as the American Icon for freedom, on a bike with the wind in his hair, says Git Scheynius, Festival Director at Stockholm Film Festival.

The 30th Stockholm International Film Festival will be dedicated to Peter Fonda.
