Stockholm Film Festival’s  accreditation for press is now open

We welcome journalists to the 26th edition of Stockholm International Film Festival, November 11-22, 2015

The accreditation gives you access to press screenings, press material and interview opportunities with visiting directors and actors. With the press pass you can also attend all festival films upon availability Monday- Friday before 5pm. You collect your press pass at the press center located at Hotel Kungsträgården from November 11.

Stockholm Film Festival is one of Northen Europe’s biggest film festivals, currently showing over 200 movies from all around the world during 12 days. Some of the films in this year’s program are Meditarrenea, a portrait of young migrants inspired by the director Jonas Carpignano’s trip to the Italian town Rosarno, Summer of Sangaile by Alante Kavaite, appraised at Sundance Festival, Magnus von Horn’s The Here After appauded by international filmcritics in Cannes, Crystal Moselle’s documentary The Wolfpack, about six brothers growing up locked up in an apartment in Manhattan and Taxi Teheran by the Iranian director Jafar Panahi, who under his homearrest finds a way to continue as a filmmaker from a taxi driver’s seat.

As every year the festival is looking forward to welcome directors and actors, both debutants and veterans. Among others, the Stockholm Lifetime Achievement awarded director Stephen Frears will attend to receive his prize together with the premiere of his latest film The Program (2015).

The complete program is presented at the press conference October 20. Accredited journalists will receive an invitation.
