New list categorization and price structure for Other Financial Instruments In order to create a better structure for the list "Other Financial Instruments" and to meet with the great changes in this market, Stockholmsbörsen has decided to introduce a new list categorization and a new price structure. Interest in warrants has increased sharply during recent years. During 2001 17,0 billion warrants were traded, compared to 0,3 billion five years ago. In pace with this rapid upswing, the number of listed warrants has increased significantly. At the same time the number of orders has increased explosively, which puts high demands on system- and network capacity. At present, the warrant list includes a wide range of various types of financial instruments. There is also an increasing demand on the Stockholmsbörsen for instruments that do not fit into today's structure. Changes in short. · A separate list for warrants will be introduced in order to create a more clear-cut structure and a better overview. · Subscription options will be transferred to the list for convertible loans, which will be renamed "Convertible Loans and Subscription Options". · The list "Other Financial Instruments" will include instruments such as equity baskets, index baskets and other types of combination instruments. · The trading and issuing fees to be paid by Stockholmsbörsen's members will be increased to better reflect the utilization of resources, particularly of systems and listing services. · The issuers' disclosure obligations will be clarified and the demands with respect to the creditworthiness of issuers will be formalized in order to provide investors with increased security. The list-changes will be implemented by April 8, 2002.
