“We are very pleased that our unique eco-packaging for the fish industry is recognized and awarded the Quality Innovation Award,” says Peter Thorstensson, SVP and Head of Corrugated Nordics, Stora Enso division Packaging Solutions. “Until now, there has been no renewable fibre-based concept in the market as a competitive alternative to styrox or plastic packaging in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness. In addition to its ability replace less environmentally-friendly fish packaging, the EcoFishBox is 100% recyclable and saves space during transport and warehousing.”
