Stora Enso: Announcement with reference to Chapter 2, paragraph 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act

Stora Enso was informed on 24 April 2012 that the number of shares in the Company held by Norges Bank (The Central Bank of Norway) has decreased below 5% of the paid-up share capital and the number of shares in Stora Enso Oyj following a share lending transaction on 23 April 2012 in which Norges Bank is the lender.
With reference to Chapter 2, paragraph 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act, Stora Enso Oyj is reporting that as of 23 April 2012 the shareholding of Norges Bank is as follows:
