Stora Enso Oyj was informed on 7 October 2009 that the number of shares in the Company held by Tradewinds Global Investors, LLC (USA registered number 801-65208) has decreased below 5% of the paid-up share capital and the number of shares in Stora Enso Oyj on 30 September 2009.
