Stora Enso's converted shares recorded in Finnish trade register

During the 31 December 2003–4 February 2004 conversion period 
there were five conversions and a total of 10 341 series 
A shares were converted into R shares. The shares were recorded 
in the Finnish trade register today, 16 February 2004, and 
trading in the new R shares will start on 17 February 2004.

Breakdown of shares after conversion:

A shares	181 172 833
R shares	683 311 666
Total		864 484 499
