Stora Enso's converted shares recorded in Finnish trade register

During the 30 August–30 September 2003 conversion period there 
were two conversions and a total of 502 923 series A shares were 
converted into R shares. The shares were recorded in the Finnish 
trade register today, 15 October 2003, and trading in the new 
R shares will start on 16 October 2003.

Breakdown of shares after conversion:

A shares	181 646 403
R shares	682 541 096
Total		864 187 499
