Stora Enso's converted shares recorded in Finnish trade register

During the 31 May-30 June conversion period there were two 
conversions and a total of 1 400 series A shares were converted 
into R shares. The shares were recorded in the Finnish trade 
register today, 15 July 2003, and trading in the new R shares 
will start on 16 July 2003.

Breakdown of shares after conversion:
A shares	182 205 367
R shares	681 982 132
Total		864 187 499
