Stora Enso shares converted

STORA ENSO OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 16 May 2011 at 09.00 EET

During the 8 February –29 April 2011 conversion period there was one conversion and a total of 762 A shares were converted into R shares. The shares were recorded in the Finnish trade register today, 16 May 2011, and trading in the new R shares will start on 17 May 2011.


Breakdown of shares after conversion:

Each A share and each ten R shares carry one vote. The total amount of votes after conversion is 238 387 969.
