New Managing Director at Stora Celbi

Effective July 1, 1997, Francisco Silva Gomes will assume the position as Managing Director of Stora Celbi, S.A., Portugal, succeeding Bert Östlund, who has been appointed President of Stora Cell. Mr. Silva Gomes has worked for Stora Celbi since 1977, and as Mill Director since 1992.
